A Day in London All to my Onesy!

So I woke up to a day all to my onesy.  I didn't know what to do except stroll my way on down to a Rock n' Roll tour Mike Long had informed me to go to.

Came across this amazing park!  So many people just sitting and relaxing.  I had a stretch and an orange while I was there.

Got to the street where the r n' r tour starts.  This street is like the birthplace of Rock n' Roll.  It's kinda nuts...

This was the tour guide.  This dude was SO hyped on what he was about to show us.  He had a notebook with flyers, photos and other propaganda from the musical greats back then.  When he'd speak, he'd spit.  This particular group consisted of myself, a school teacher from San Pedro, a couple random older Broadway fanatics and a family of hairy Russian women led by a giant Vladimir homie!  What a posse!!

This is a SUPER LEGENDARY spot.  This is where SOOOO many original recordings took place.  The Beatles, Bowie, The Stones... all these cats..

This is the art college that Keith Richards met Mick Jagger.  We know the rest.. Be sure to read Keith's autobiography "Life". Shit's sick.

This guitar shoppe had some history.  One good story was the bassist from the Sex Pistols  tried to return a one of a kind guitar that they had from heisting another bands equipment the night before.  He had no luck and was arrested.  Up The Bullocks!

This was a MEGA venue back in the day.

All of these bands played at that venue in one concert shown here.  For only one pound!! The guy said he "would've done ANYTHING to go to that show!"

This is an alleyway where the Beatles took a famous photo.  The guide was hyped.  Vladimir wasn't too impressed.

All of a sudden there's a Chinatown.

There were plaques selectively placed throughout Tin Pan Alley in dedication to some of the All Time Greats.  Here is one for Keith Moon.

This wall had all of these bands that had played at the Apollo over the years.  There were many more than what's shown here.

Saw some snacks!  For later..

Being that I didn't know what to do, I linked with the teacher from San Pedro, Shayna and had a drink at a local pub.  She was out there for a week just on a holiday.  She was a blast! Had so many funny stories of what she had already done.

She knew of this dessert type place to hit.  So we did and dear god was it good.  Look at that brownie!!

Got that chocolate for the cafe!!

And a little bit o' dat cream!

Finally found my way back to the hostel I booked in the morning.   This place was pretty sick too!  So many people!!  There was a bar, dance club, cafeteria and sick little bed zones.  I was hyped on a proper night's rest.  Cheers!
