Days of Granada!!

Another morning! After a stretch and a smoke, breaky.

We pretty much just got baked and ate more food this whole day...

We met up with the ladies to see a Flamenco show.

This place was so rad.  It was a small cave like club.. The ceiling was probably only 8 feet high and sloped on the sides.  The woman was a WOMAN!!  I've never seen anything like it!! She was dancing like a maniac and stomping her feet on the wooden floor to create the beat.  The guy on the right was called up to throw down some hand claps and the guy on the left was singing with more passion than ever before!  The guy hidden in the view is SHREDDING the guitar. But not strumming, picking the strings with his super long fingernails.  Thanks to Elvi's planning, we reserved the front row for the whole crew and enjoyed the show!!

The next day, I went with Duper to school! It was shweet bro.

We found these dank churros to feast upon, that were accompanied with by a cup of chocolate. Nugs.

Double Dippin'!

We met up with Steve, Andrew, and Katie for a bit and came across a cool spice market. Peep these colors!

I continued the trek with Andrew and Katie up the hill.  If you follow the river it kind of leads you up the way.

Andrew dropped some sick knowledge on the Alhambra Palace and it's Moorish influence.  He described how the Romans had built the city but the Moors took it over.  A lot of the structures are super old and Roman built.  He also described the geometric influence the Moor brought to the world and their ways of constructing.  This can be seen in many of the tiles around the city.

Looking further up the hill is an "Acupa", or squatter, village.  It's made up of makeshift houses and dwellings.  Don't go walking around if you don't stay there.  There is a law that states if you occupy an abandoned facility for a year without being evicted, it's yours.

Even the Coke adverts have the Moorish infuence.

Granada is an extremely healthy place. There's all ages of people walking about. HARDLY EVER overweight. Like 1 out of 1000 or more... With the food around and the lack of fast food offered, I'd imagine it's a little hard.  This sign was a map of the city with the walk we were on highlighted.  It showed how many calories you'd burn if you walked this path. I thought this was a cool thing to have.  You don't typically see that on the side of a street.

Everybody's chillin..

We went to a textile warehouse.  This place had a bunch of sick tiles and dishes for sale.

Some more sick graffiti.  Looks like Shel Silverstein.

A view of Alhambra.

This was one of the sickest things I saw in Spain.  The words say, "Houses without people, People without houses!" This is standout.

We sat for some wine and had a chat!

Then back to the crib for another feast!!  Once again, Mr. Andrew Miller cooking up a fine meal.  Cheers bra!

Then you sket baaaaaayyy...
