Wild Moose: The Grand Pappy of America

England - The Grand Pappy of America! With plans already to go to England, I was invited to stay with some homies in a suburb of London called Harlow. I had met these Englishmen in Barcelona through Troy and skated with them a great deal while we were there. My filmer homie Jake Shunt - fan of Shake Junt - invited me to stay at his house for a few days.

When I arrived, the sun was reminiscent of a Cali sunset. Already lookin' good!

Death Skateboards Pro Mark Nicolson came through with the swoop from the airport as well! Mark reminds me of Pat Duffy. His skateboarding is amazing! He just smokes spliffs and drinks beers while connecting the footage dots.

We went to the skatepark, smoked with some other homies and shredded in the dark for a bit. Then Jake and I made our back to his. This is what a filmers life looks like..

Jake's a straight G. This dude LOVES skateboarding. It's a good feeling to be surrounded by passionate energies. You can accomplish things you love to do with great ease. And with that street mentality lacing it all together... bananas in your cereal. Jake Shunt.

Next day we started it off with a skate to the Harlow Skatepark. Darting through brick layered communities.

Straight into some of that English Green.

We hopped to the local shop, Motel 6, to say whats up to Jake's homie Harry. Look at that love for Death. I spy Nicolson boards.

Arrived to the park and was greeted by the Skatemas Tree.

We decided to trek to a little spot down the way.

England is dank. It's kinda always cloudy and rainy which makes everything green. It's not all brown n shit.

This spot used to be filled with water and the park would be packed with people. People would swim around and ride little boats in it. Mark was saying when he was young he'd be there. Now we shred.

When we arrived back to the park this tank of a man came storming through yelling at Monk, the Motel 6 owner, about saying some shit to his kid. Apparently this rat was talking some shit to Monk near his shop and Monk told him a thing or two. Then when the kid showed to the park he kept running his mouth and Monk put the kid on the ground and gave him a well deserved slap. The kid ran off and told his beast of a father, which turned out to be a stepfather, and the dude came through looking to kill Monk!! Monk had his board up to hit the dude and the guy said "It's gonna take a lot more than that!" He chased Monk around the greens for a bit with all the skatepark following. No one was going to let Monk get pummeled but the dude wanted to KILL Monk. After some negotiations and a notice that the pizza his wife was making was ready, the monster left. Not before literally uprooting a 20 foot tree to get the kid's board that Monk thrown up there. I saw the guy!! I was going to film it but i hit the button too many times.. He bent down, hugged the tree and fuckin' ripped it out of the ground. He would've killed Monk....

We mobbed out with Monk, the Motel 6 owner, for a shred outside of town. Monk's fuckin' ill! So funny man
